Inspiration

Featured Replies

My car - a mk2 vrs hatch - is going to the body shop following it getting a little too intimate with a bollard in ASDA car park.

I fancy also having the grille colour coded, lowering springs or coilovers fitted, a change of wheels or the standards refurbed, a splitter (are there even any available) etc etc etc.

The wife has told me to "stop dicking about" so give me some mild inspiration with pics of lightly fettled Octavias and Help me persuade the mrs.

I've checked the "you're doing it right" thread but the cars on there are too modified. I can't get away with uncheck as the car still has to be usable family transport.

What colour is your vRS? Colour coding is colour sensitive IMO and only works on the dark colours like black and anthracite. Some eibach pro springs lower it nicely and they're not too expensive.

It's black magic. So I think the grille stands out far too much and cheapens the front end. I've never seen a car on the eibachs, how much different do they look?

Do a search for my old car; that was on eibach pros and koni fsds. Colour coded on a black vrs looks good. I did this on my first vrs which was a pre fl.

How do I find it? ... I'm useless with technology.

I'll save you the trouble then....

The Eibachs lower it to nice height and the 15mm spacers on the rear give a more purposeful stance.

The black grill surround works well on white. Mine was wrapped but on a black car you need it colour coded.

Small details like debadging make a big difference too.

Chefs mate. I like that. What spacers are they? You're right it looks a lot more purposeful.

15mm hubcentric ones.

Like it when the Octy is debadged. Looks so much better :)
