They are not new tho are they just fresh refurb.

IMO id rather have a set of Freshly refurbed wheels than brand new skoda ones that are notorious for the paint flaking. Lepsons are prob the best wheel refurbers in kent which id why they can charge so much!

Who ever buys any wheels from Pete will be getting a good set of circles. As some of you know, Petes one of my good mates and is also THE most anal person i have ever met when it comes to attention to detail with his wheels! Spider wheel Whore!

GLWS mate :)

I'd also add one of the most genuine and honest people you would expect to meet on here.

I can also vouch for the attention to detail as well, especially after seeing both the Fabia and Octavia in the flesh. :hi:

These are some of the rims I've already had refurbished at Lepsons.

£900 for a set of spiders.... WTF.

  • Author

Brand new spiders are about £200+ vat each from the Stealers and that's without tyres. These are not cheap buckled rubbish but an awesome set of refurbished spiders by the best guys in the business. And come complete with tyres.

£900 for a set of spiders.... WTF.

Agreed!

Folks, if you don't like the price, look elsewhere. It is unfair to clog this guy's thread.

Four decent tyres for these wheels alone would no doubt be £400 ish, perhaps a touch more. I've seen sets far from perfect (ie plenty of kerbing) with pretty shabby tyres go for £250+; if you were to factor in a refurb plus four decent tyres, the total would be approaching (if not exceeding) what the OP is asking. Plus, you'd have the hassle of arranging a refurb, getting the tyres and so on.

Personally, I'd be seriously considering them if I didn't have other things to shell out for in the next few weeks. Considering you'd be the recpient of a professionally finished set of FIVE wheels & tyres, the price really is not that hard to believe when you break it down.

OP, apologies if I've inadvertently contributed to clogging the thread, feel free to have this removed if you wish.

Good luck with the sale.

Thanks for your comment Clarky.

Agreed with Clarky. It cost me £330 for a set of 2nd hand spiders and £400+ for new tyres and mine actually look 2nd hand aswell, unlike these that look better than factory fresh, so £900 is a good price all in.
