Been running the other halfs Fabia SDI on a 50/50ish mix of sunflower oil its running very nicely indeed.

But I dived in it this morning to help defrost the windows and im sure when starting from cold its quieter now?

It will be quieter yes.

Just make sure you check which fuel pump it has.

If it's a Lucas then stop using the oil in there. If it's a bosch then carry on.

I used to run our old car on neat or 50/50 veg and diesel. It was a Pug 306 1.9D (with a Bosch pump).

Phil, with the pug engines, wasn't that referring to the high pressure pump? The Fabias run unit injectors, there is no remote HP pump.

all sdi's and non pd tdi's are fine on veg. I stress non pd and non cr
