Badges on the Fabia tailgate!

Featured Replies

Silly question but are the Fabia and TDi badges on the back of my Monte Carlo fitted with lugs like the bonnet badge? I'm looking at removing them and replacing them with a Monte Carlo Badge from the front wings. I didn't want to go through the hassle of having to fill holes, any information would be helpful as I'm loathed t remove them if they have guide hoels

I highly doubt it mate i guess they would be same as a vrs and in that case they can be removed with heat and bit of fishing wire. But you might want to wait until someone can tell you for certain

They are all stuck with adhesive. Only holes can be found behind the round Skoda badges.

Post pics. Sounds like a good idea.

I'm not big in to debadging but think this would look good for the Monte. Talking of badges.. Couple teenagers came to my door last night to tell me I had left the boot open on my tidy Alpha Romeo!

thanks guys, guess what I'm doing this weekend then :giggle: I work at a college and had my bonnet badge removed (I can only guess by a student) back to the beastie boys only with Skoda badges? at least that gave me the chance to change to the new black and silver badges.

I took the tdi badge off the rear, and all the fabia letters too.all held in with glue....few mins hair dryer on each section then dental floss one edge to middle.then other edge to middle.

Yeah, the monte I had.only vrs badge on this car is on the front grille

The rare one was easy to come off it stuck on and when put new one on you will need to pack it out a bit

Is the 'monte Carlo 20xx' badge glued on? Thought it had lugs?!?

Hair dryer and fishing line is defo best bet

Good luck - its pretty easy mind
