Hit and run on my vrs!

Featured Replies

Woke up the other week only to find someone had drove right down the side of my car fru the night i was fuming until i found a ford focus wing mirror cover on my lawn and inside of it was a pice of masking tape with the car reg on it!!!!! Haha i was buzing i got in touch with police and before i know it his insurance company was on the phone to sort it all out

You can just picture the look on the blokes face when the coppa turned up wen he thought he had got of with it.

Since then its turned into a right pain as my alloys are no longer being made so i cant replace the rear damaged alloy. Good news is the insurance company has gave me £500 pound to buy a full new set! Problem is i dont have a clue what to get i liked the ones i had.

Anyone got any ideas what 17" alloys i can get with that budget or a little bit more that will look nice on my vrs I'm open to ideas

Pic of the old one would be good to see what style of rim you like

Can't go wrong with Octy spiders :)

Had someone put the cover there as a plant? Or was it a coincidence or what?

Especially with masking tape with the reg on it? lol

Set of Audi rims on sale from BossFox for £100, leaves you £400 for refurb. ;)

His mirror must have come of when he hit my car and as for the reg taped on the inside my apprentice used to paint at ford and thats what they do to make sure parts make there way back to the right car. Worked out very well fir me tho

Could you not get the wheel repaired?
