Another faulty actuator! :@

Featured Replies

As some of you will have seen i've had turbo troubles recently, so on my second re con turbo from turbo solutions and the first had a faulty actuator and it popped, :@ long story short, they investigated it, said it wasn't their fault so in a rush I bought another re con one. The car is still not rite, so i went to skoda full diagnostics everything fine, went back and they found the actuator was nackered. So I'm fed up now and I'm awaiting a date from DTD to trailer my car up and get a hybrid and a map :) which is what i should have done from the word go! Ordered myself an intercooler from tx autosport and a bigger intake pipe from seat. Cannot wait now to get it all done.

Going to get them to return the turbo that's on there to me and I'm taking it to tradin standards for them to inspect it, then send it back to turbo solutions and see what they say compared to trading standards. On a customer service basis.... What an useless company!! Would not recommend.

Gutted you had all the troubles mate. Bet you cant wait for it to be done now and with the hybrid even more so :). Cant wait for mine to be done now aswell, its not to far away. We should have a meet up when we are both on the road for comparisons and maybe a few cheeky photos of the fabs.

Not sure if trading standards will test it for you mate, you would probably have to have it looked over by a turbo specialist to get a report but I would be surprised if the company don't help you out if that's the second popped turbo.
