Featured Replies

Just wondered if anyone has had their car MOTed with the smoked rear dectern led rear clusters? cheers.

Passed 3 mot's with these. At 2 different centres as well.

Not LED though and pics look darker than real life.

similar to mine. gather he didnt have an issue? ta for all the quick replies.

It'd depend on the tester, the wording of the refusal is:

d. not visible from a reasonable distance due to excessive damage, deterioration, or having products on the lens or light source

So what's a reasonable distance?, 20 metres seems to be the norm when assessing registration plates. If the lights were noticeably much dimmer than standard, I would fail it.

Should be fine if E mark shouldn't it?

They're slightly brighter if anything, E marked, and there is nothing on the lens

Mine passed last year, next test due this Decemeber................................can't believe I've actually liked a car enough to keep it 4 years :)

Nice pics ;)

I like those Brimma. They work best on a black car though I reckon.

Shame there isn't a tasteful or well constructed LED cluster for the MK1 Fabia.

I think they would be very popular.

I've got them on mine and will soon find out in December for its first MOT. Personally and like Brimma said there should be no reason why it shouldn't pass an MOT with them on.

Passed with no problems :hi::whew: :whew:

Thought so :)

Mine's due anytime, but I'm struggling to find the old one, since they put it on that stupid A4 piece of paper

Was much better on the old brown MoT slip

Shouldn't be an issue as it's all on the database - the paper is only a receipt.
