As you all know ive spent a million and one pounds on my car getting it fixed ect, brand new 700 quid garrt, engine and all sorts of other ****e

Now as from yesterday, its starting to make a little squeel/squeek when on boost. Checked all the pipes ect for leeks and everything looks fine.

It also makes a noise when the car is stationary holding the revs at a certain pressure. The only way to describe it is it sounds like someone is spraying an aerosol can

PLEASE PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME ITS DRIVING ME MAD AND TO THINK THAT IVE SPENT SILLY MONEY ON IT AND ITS STILL NOT RIGHT DRIVES ME MAD!

I know its something little like something loose or not right that can probs be fixed in mins

That's a boost leak by the sounds of it, one of your pipe connections must be loose or knackered o ring or clip etc.

If you're near Cardiff I'd take a look with ya

Only produces high boost when under load so won't leak as such when just revving.

Not a lot else would hiss under revs?

Does it hiss louder when in gear under load?

Does it still drive fine?

The hiss is the noise it makes when its stationary when the revs are held under a certain pressure, and the noise changes when im driving (assuming the noises are becuase of the same thing) the turbo whines a little bit when on boost

best way would be to have the bumper off and get someone to rev car while you check and get close to the gaps. mine was like an aerosol can the other day, but then again i have a bigger intercooler on and i snapped a silicone hose in half from bottoming out off my drive. *sigh*.

ive done all the obvious pal, im fairly mechanical minded and that, had the car up all four wheels off the floor, engine running whilst revving it ect ect, head reet inside of the engine bay. Even ma mate whgo is a mechanic on trucks is struggling!

maybe a slight crack in any? obviously on more boost your running higher pressures making them expand? just thinking out loud mate.
