Cheers

there's a pd150 hybrid for sale in the sales section only just been rebuilt and still has a years warranty, think there after £950 delivered for it.

Yeah i seen that just looking at all options really

TD quoted me around the same figure for their Stage 2 affair direct a month or so ago.

Thats a brand new unit, not a refurb too....

Get your hands on a 2nd hand PD150 if you can (I managed to get one for £150)

And I sent mine to universal turbos and it was about £650

Adam

There was a guy/ company on eBay that did them new for £600 or so. Seemed to come quite praised. Can't remember what they're called but I'll see if I can find a link to the old thread

Whilst the 2nd one Jabbasport run a MD376 with a few little tweaks.

They quoted mer £950 including VAT for Jabba's slightly better version.

Didn't realise they tweaked the MD376 :(

My Allard VT2 was about £950 when I bought it a couple of years back, for the brand new unit built to order. I imagine the price will have gone up from then, but they were excellent to deal with Jase, would certainly recommend them. I think Alan was the chap I dealt with.

Also, I think there may be a couple of new forum sponsors that have popped up recently, so it might be worth a look in the sponsors section.

I bought a freshly reconned PD150 from UK-MKIV's forum then sent it off to TDI Turbos for a stage 2 (uprated compressor, balanced, 360 deg bearing and cutback) for around £600 total. Its more work involved, but saved me a wedge :)

Then i can sell the KKK for a few quid once thats off as it seems in good condition.

I will have a pd150 to trade!

So the first one from turbo dynamics is like a stage 1 hybrid 150?

That will do to be honest. Only really after a nice 200bhp

If you are after 200bhp then the standard PD150 will be up to the job. You could get the one you have checked over? With a good map to suit obviously.

I'm not sure of the power my car is running, but for it to be pulling 96mph up the strip it has to be nigh on 200bhp I would have thought.

Thats what you say now...i said that when i got a stage 1 remap! :D

Turbo centre uk take kkk 130's in part ex against garret 150's btw guys!

They said garret are taking and scrapping them to try and corner the market

If im getting it rebuilt might as well get a hybrid! Think the comp wheel is damaged

I`d get the hybrid, running 200bhp it`ll be reliable and you`ll not have to worry its being pushed too hard.

Yeah thats the plan bud!
