hi there would a new climate control unit need to be programed to your car or is it just plug in and go ?

I upgraded my climatronic switch from the pre fl to the fl version, no coding needed, just a small wiring mod.

Hey there,

I had no end of faults with my climate control when I first has my vRS, and the workshop couldn't put it right. I asked if they had another car with the same set up, to swap the controller unit, which they did, 4 screws out and in the new unit went, no messing about required!
