200k

Featured Replies

Anyone done 200k in a car owned from new with you as the only driver? Would get bored of it by then ? This is my goal. Only 75 k to go lol!

Car is a Ibiza Tdi 130 .

Nope - but my car recently passed 120,000 miles, and from 7,360 its been in my ownership (mileage on dash/engine when fitted)

Not a new car. I expect I would still have fabia mark 1 had I not stuffed it off on a welsh b road....

Yes seen the pic of that off! Those welsh roads are really dangerous. My local north Wales police are currently on a clamp down on boy racers with the intention of helping them live a bit longer.

Bout 85k is the most I've ever done in one car.

I have recently got to half of my cars mileage in my ownership, bought it at 70k now on 142k

Done 250k in a car and that's ok.

Was nice to have a change after that, but I'm not sure it was boring, just familiar at that point.

205k in 12 years from new in my Nissan Primera GT, which I then traded in for my Octavia VRS.

Most I've ever managed is about 11k over three years in my Polo.

Up to 7k since June or July in the BMW though so can see that racking up quickly.

I'd be bored of most things after 2-4 years I imagine.

How long do you keep your women trigger fish ?

I've had my car for just over 9 years which is longer than I've had any woman lol!

I'll just say divorce proceedings would be expensive! (No wish to get married for a while though, only 21. :) )

Since I passed my test 6 years ago I've been doing between 12-18k a year depending on the car and me wanting to drive loads when I passed. I was also a delivery driver for 5 years so drive various vehicles. Reckon my total mileage isn't far off 100,000 miles in my own vehicles than probably 30k to that when delivering. Did 30,000 miles in my last vRS and I knew all its quirks, limits and faults and I couldn't learn more from it. I'll be keeping this for at least 3 years but I do want RWD eventually

Covered 85k in my 2010 plate octy in a year & 1/2

My current Mazda is my longest owned and highest mileage car, it's three years old next week and has just under 74k on it. It's going back to the lease company on Friday and the new one is getting delivered :)

Couldn't imagine doing 200k in the same car, for my current mileage that would be eight years, i'd be bored to tears! (dependant on what car it was I suppose)

Did 136k in my Mk1 fabia vRS. Bought with 17k on the clock and sold with 153k B)

I've modded my 125k mile motor regularly to Keep things interesting so it might be possible for me.
