A friend in work is looking at the above (along with many other models). Has anyone had any experience of this model and what did they think of it.

Any idea when a New Model might be due ?

Any things to look out for ?

Tuneability ?

Anyone try out the Auto/Tiptronic, what do they think ?

Any info appreciated ?

I'm no expert, but I did test drive a 2.5 auto as a possible replacement for my 1.9 (130). On the test drive I thought the engine sounded much smoother and nicer than my superb, but the auto box was a real slushmatic and wasted all the engine's power. I was quite disappointed, and bought the Octy II instead

I've passed on the info, I'm not sure if he might have to wait for a certain period (to get the VAT & VRT back). What do you think of that version ?

Funny that, test drove one at the weekend with my Father-in-Law, he bought it straight after the drive! Gear box is awesome, spec is outstanding, and you can get a great deal through the dealer!
