Installing the MFd1 & Speakers

Featured Replies

Take old headunit out, plug main connector/aerial/GPS aerial & CD changer into rear of MFD. Then slide it back until it clicks. Job done.

Do I need a new cage etc I have the old unit in the car at the moment

I had to cut the plastic out from behind my original cd player to fit the mfd1 in.

Also some other wiring and a gps aerial will be needed to make it work correctly.

Oh yeah and a plug and play kit. doesnt need a cage.

Those speakers would physically fit the doors. They would likely need amping to sound decent though.
