I would like to ask anyone about replacing my skoda roomster engine with stronger and more horse power one, is there any engine fit my 2008 roomster??

 

my Existing engine information

1.6          1,598 cc I4, 16v DOHC    

Code:BTS Family:(EA111)

77 kW (105 PS; 103 bhp)

 

and the gearbox is a 6-speed tiptronic transmission

Surely a remap or the like would be a better option than an engine replacement?

1.6 16v. Is that Petrol?

Actually my engine is stopped working and need an overhaul. yes it is a patrol engine

please if any one have any Ideas on any (bigger/more power) engine Compatible with my 2008 Roomster.

in my country the Skoda cars are rare. please please.

Keeping in mind that I am not a car mechanic and your car is identical to Fabias at least at front any engine that was fitted in 2008 Fabias will fit your engine bay. Of course I don't know if any of those engines can be matched to your gearbox.
