Hi,

The Skoda ones were about £26 and they are the same style and quality as the boot liner, i like them and they fit perfectly, i did not want the universal ones because overall they just dont fit as well as the manufacturers designed ones, and for the sake of £14 it really does not seem worth it given i will be keeping the car for years.

Absolutely, I like buying better stuff but I am so skint before X_mas and after paying for my new wheels that every peny counts:).

And in all hoesty, how often do you look down into your footwell when you're driving ? :)

When you buy a new Skoda Fabia in the UK, what mats do you get with the car?

In Sweden the dealer includes rubber mats and textile ones, We also seem to get mud flaps for the front wheels as stock :)

None of the above, all extra... :swear:

Maybe you would be happier if you paid their price tag for a car as well? …. thought not.

As a matter of fact I got carpet mats for free when I bought mine, among other things :)

Skoda with their deals at the moment are really hard to beat on value for money. List prices are a different story, if you pay list price then ....all the dealers will love you lol

Tesco rubber mats do the job nicely and cheaply!

Exactly :) My Fabia TSI 1.2 Excellence spec with comfort package and sport chassi, sport package and tinted windows cost about 13000GBP including winter wheels on steel rims..

Just fitted :) Not perfect fit as tailor made but surprisingly good for universal, cut-out types.

You do get textile mats as free when you buy the Elegance.... well according to the brochure.

Just noticed these mats on superskoda. They look a lot plusher than the ones I have. Does anyone know if these are available from dealers in right-hand drive format?

I also use original rubber mats. After washing them, I apply 303 Aerospace Protectant, not slippery ;)

I like keeping things OEM, particularly on newer cars but have to say the dealer supplied carpet mats for the Fabia were v poor. They started fraying around the edges within days of use and the pile was so wirey that they were nigh on impossible to clean and the drivers mat in particular looked years old only after a few weeks. Changed to the rubber ones and they are generally much better though they dont clip in positively like the carpet ones . Have also found that wearing proper shoes (as I do all week for work) seems to cause premature wearing and am wondering how long they'll hold up before they develop a tear.

Got textile mats from the factory. 50k miles, 10 years, looking good.

Just ordered some custom Ambassadors with "Tech edition" on them, at £43 quid delivered they best be good!

£42 for a bit of cut carpet... **** :D

Has anybody tried the Halfrauds model specific tailored mats?
