I'll miss the Fabia, it's been absolutely brilliant and a lot of fun, but living costs have dictated that it's a Citigo this time around.

Having said that, the Greentec suspension setup is more fun to drive and the car feels quicker than the paper suggests, so the next 3 years should be just as enjoyable :D

indeed, ash's citygo drives brilliantly! fat 185/55/15's though :)

Don't they look a treat in white. I've been out all afternoon in mine - but of shopping - bit of long way home - absolutely loved it and all at 67 mpg - just so cheap to run. It's a long time since I've had a car that will do 100 miles on £10 of petrol.

Looks good! My wife picks up hers on Saturday, a black elegance.

It does look good in white. I would have been happy with white or red, but this one was in the showroom with the spare wheel in it and I could have it now. The deal was good, so I did it :)

Good on you Mike, looks great, and even better you got a good deal too. Enjoy it.

I would come to lillyhall for service Mike, they are very good :)

I have 3 years free servicing on it and the distance would be about the same otherwise I would definately consider it :)

Is Ash's a Greentech with the sport (oh, sorry, "lowered for aerodynamic reasons") suspension? It does make a nice difference!

Mike gets praise for getting a Citygo....I get grief and abuse for buying a Golf....hmmm don't get it......lmao :D

Seriously looks nice....looking forward to having a decent nose around one.

Looks good! My wife picks up hers on Saturday, a black elegance.

Saturday must be a good day, get my white elegance green tech 60 on sat as well.

Then a nice long drive home from Stockport to Dorset!

no Mike, no greentech, but the optional 15 inch alloys with 185/55/15/ tyres :) (michelin, I have just bought some conti winters for her!)

check out the pictures thread to see her car :)

It looks really stunning in white! Many happy miles.

That's mine that is :D

See if they'll let you keep those "Citigo" display plates.

I need a set. :D

I quite like the stickers down the side :giggle:

Luckily they are just magnetic advertising for finance.

Hmm, magnetic decals for cars... change the look every day if you want! :D

Got the car, and 100 miles done already! Great little thing it is, Dad is well impressed with it too :giggle:

This little car has such a great personality. There's only one thing wrong... it's dirty already :D

hope to see it at a meet Mike :)

Looks good Mike

had a nice drive in Ash's citygo today, still suprises me how far they have brought the "small car" feels SO much better than something like an i10 or a C1 ....

Cheers guys :)

It does feel like a bigger car to drive, and yes it will be coming to meets. Lets see how many of the vRS crowd I can surprise by keeping up with them in it :giggle: at least on very twisty roads anyway :) I'd best stay at the back up Hartside though hah!

Ash's has 185/55/15's which are fat for such a small car, doesn't roll bad, and grips quite well.... will be looking at the Up! GT next year ;) its not fast granted (60ps) but it sounds good :) and even with me wringing its neck it was doing 52 mpg :o

Up GT sounds like a lot of fun to me :D

Dad has just had an Up courtesy car delivered while his Octy goes off to be fixed (idiot reversed into it in a car park). He likes the Citigo and the Up is of course the same, but there are two things he doesn't like about it. The flat-bottomed steering wheel was one but what he really hated was the glossy piano black dash. It reflects everything and shows up every little mark and scratch. Looks great in photos, but not good to actually live with.

And you can't have PID in it either :S
