Internal fan speed regulator...where is it? :-)

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've a problem with my Skoda Fabia I 1.9 TDI, 250.000kms at now.

Fan for internal heating/ventilation only run if "4" is selected, while in "1", "2", or "3" anything happen.

So, i should change the fan speed regulator which should have VAG reference 1J0907521, according some searches I've made in www. This because at "4" velocity full tension is sent to fan, while for first three tension is reduced by this component, which contains three resistors in series

But, when going looking for it in the car, i wasn't able to find it; i started from the switch and cables seem to go in the upper section... someone knows where it could be fitted?

Thank you and have a nice SKODA day!

Thank you very much! it can help me, even is my version is a left-hand drive, so i hope it is placed in the same place. I'll check!

Thanks for the help on this. I replaced mine about three weeks ago for this one for £6.99 all in! It was an import, so delivery was about 2 weeks. There was an unpleasant fishy smell for about 5 days when I thought it was burning out, but now that has gone and it is working fine.
