Kwik Fit? C'mon guys, it isn't difficult to find a good quality independant.

It's the same with most national companies, there are a few good ones but most of them are pants.

You'll all be telling me you take your cars to Halfords for a service next!

And that's their fault.

Didn't you see on passenger seat?

Take responsibility for yourself.

Actually we didn't see it on the seat, it was dark and rolled back far enough for me to sit on it and not notice, it was only when it was light that it was seen and nicked. They should have put it back where they found it, simple.

When I was buying my Octy 4x4, I went through the maintenance invoices. Not long before it was sold, it had been taken to Kwik-Fit for 4 new tyres. Looking at the car, they had put on 3 different models from 2 different brands. Premium brands, but still, come on!

As to the above incident, when you take something, you put it back where you found it. Or you let them know its been moved. Them's the rules.

Currently regreting coming to kwik-fit. 1hr + 24.50 to repair a puncture. Useless isnt the word. Wish id driven further. Never again.

Should have tried National or Watling tyres. There's a place on the Holmthorpe Industrial estate that's supposed to be quite good as well but the name escapes me.

I once went with my dad years ago to have some tyres fitted at national tyres and we stood and watched as he fitted the brand new pirelli p zero the wrong way round,

We had to go tell lad in office what his muppet tyre fitter was doing

I have a company car. Which has to have tyres fitted at Kwik Fit. I cringe every time I have to visit listening to all the bxxxocks going on in the waiting room. And still people part with their hard earned on stuff they don't need. On the upside I get tyres fitted during work hours and its not uncommon to be there 2+ hours and that's just the fronts !!

Ah yeah, i heard some great storys..."sir your rear brake shoes are 95%worn, its going to be £115 for them plus the four tyres" he only came in for a slow puncture on the front!

Glad it was my other halfs panda not the vrs!

They have never charged me for a puncture at Kwik Fit, that's in three different branches.

Took the Mrs 19 year old MX5 in back end of last year with a rattle from the exhaust, the heat shield had come loose, repaired free of charge.

Take as you find, for me they are ok

Regards all

Its making me worry that there is a kwik fit receipt in my service history from the other year :D

I went to look at a Mercedes the other day. No service history but the salesman was pretty honest and said that it was a relatives car and it had been serviced for the last 4 years by Kwik Fit. I walked away as I'm not convinced that a Kwik Fit technician would understand a V8...2 air filters and who knows what else.

I have used Kwik Fit before for tyres, exhausts etc and have no complaints...

Never been to KWIKFIT, never will. I currently use a local multi outlet tyre and battery 'specialist' for SWMBO's mobile dustbin.

Tho when my oiler needs it's 1st set of new boots i shall be asking so very direct questions about how much care they're going to take replacing them and what they will do regards balancing them as I'm not having a knuckledragger knacker my nice black neptunes.
