  • The crank vent to atmosphere mod? Nothing that I know of. Been running mine for a LONG time with no side effects.

  • Put my pipe straight to atmosphere, saves remembering to empty cans and make brackets etc. looks more subtle under the bonnet too

What is this mod? Never heard of it lol.

its the crank case breather vented to an oil catch can or like mine just piped down out of engine bay, instead of sending oily vapour back into the air intake, making oily turbo and intercooler pipes

Hence elephant mod hose leading to under car is like a trunk :). Tel you what tho couldn't believe all the crap that goes back into the engine my hands are still black

yeah that and egr, are just ridiculous. its just breathing filthy air

think i may have to get invoved with this little mod as its the cheast mod that is actually good for your engine... but only having a very basic knowledge will do a bit moe research before i start taking things off and putting new things in.

Like sex! very wise

I used a washing machine hose fits perfect, a rubber bung to seal air intake and some black insulation tape to make hose more sightly. cheap as chips and its guna help my engine makes you wonder why they did it in the first place!

Have you found any other info on it

It's dead easy, and totally worthwhile.

If you do this, also do at the very least an EGR adaptation to prevent more soot going around else you'll find that whatever oil is in your system will start collecting soot a lot more.
