To save clogging up the other thread, I thought I'd start a new one to give some honest feedback of the Piper exhaust system I've just bought from the deal currently on here.

I decided to go for the non-silenced cat-back system with the 'J' tailpipe (or 5"x3" oval). I enquired over PM on here, and had a reply quickly with details on the system and how to pay. I phoned up yesterday at about 10am to order - the phone call was straight forward and the transaction completed quickly.

I got home from work just after midday today, to hear that the exhaust arrived at 8am this morning!! It's safe to say that I am flabbergasted with the turn-around time! I was kept up to date via PM and was given a tracking number also. Very helpful an quick service.

As for the exhaust itself, it was boxed up very nicely and wrapped up even better! Took me a while to split everything! I must say that the quality of the system is excellent - lovely welds and a system that slots together easily, plus has nice Mikalor clamps included.

The system was an absolute joy to fit. I just copper greased all the joints and clamp threads to make sure it didn't all seize together. The tailpipe can be positioned as you like it, which is a bonus. I had mine all the way back, as I don't like them sticking out like the standard exhaust tailpipe.

Tightened all the clamps up and started her up. Not a single leak anywhere, & no knocking at all - the fit is in fact excellent!

Now for all those that were not sure about buying an un-silenced system, I can say that I'm very surprised just how subtle the system sounds! It's got a nice undertone to it at idle, & sounds just right under acceleration. Cruising at 70/80mph is not really noticeably louder than before either, which is a bonus! Put basically.... it is NOT chavvy!!

I will get some pictures up once my car has been cleaned, as it's simply too shameful to post a picture of it at the minute!! Even though I did clean it on Monday :-/ I love the tailpipe and think that it suits the car perfectly.

So overall, I'm VERY impressed with the service provided, the quality if the exhaust, & the sound if it. I'd urge anyone to buy one from Adam (lad from Piper) before the deal expires, as I really haven't got a bad word to say about the whole experience! Oh... apart from getting my original exhaust over the beam to get it off!!!
