Citigo rear bumper is very springy...

Especially when the people behind you decide to test it out...

Car looks fine, but will get it checked out anyway.

Hope it's ok :) The vid needs some 'BOING',,,,, 'BOING' sounds adding for top effect though IMO :p

Wow Bossfox I admire your restraint. No WTF, only a sigh :@

Just noticed, The car in front is a Toyota

Yes, got more important things going on to be honest.

As you can see I wasn't going that fast and left plenty of space, but I could see it was going to be tight, hence the comment about braking.

Then I knew it was going to get more interesting as so opted to roll a bit to lower the impact and give the cars behind me a little more space.

Do you record all your journeys?

Mick

Hope everything is alright mate, glad to see you have the accident caught on camera as no doubt blame will get passed about, but on a more serious note i hope the people that smacked into the back of you are delt with accordingly as this could have been much more than what it was, one wonders where there attention was at...

Edit

would like to know what video recording equipment you are using as this is something i'd be looking to get for such things as this.

I have a blackvue400HD wired into all my cars that come on automatically and record about the last 20 hours or so.

The GT-R and Yeti have rear ones too, but I didn't think the Citigo needed one...

Once you have the mount in each car you can just take the unit with you.

Is that junction 30? I am guessing the mad xmas shopping rush to lakeside will be starting soon.... Our office is on London Road by ATS and I must say I really don't like to journey down there!

Hope the citigo is ok and good to see nobody was hurt either, still a hassle you can do without though.

Do you still have the same deal with the place you got them from? I am SO tempted to buy one for the back of my car, so I am recording two directions at the same time....

Unfortunately not Jason.

We only got such a good deal because the fleet and forums order came to about 10k in total, which gave me a fair bit of bargaining power.

Not to worry. May well look at one if there's ever any Jan sales on shortly after Xmas. Hope the citigo is OK.

Found one website doing them for £220 so might well take that up.

flipping heck didn't sound to good hope it gets repaired soon and looking spic and span

Ouch... Hope it's sorted soon but...

Am I the only one seeing the makings of the second Citygo-Go here?

Car looks fine, other than a mark in the bumper from the first impact and then scratching higher up where the car hit the van quite hard and pushed him into me again.

Obviously I'll get it properly checked out, but we've had it on the ramp this morning and it all looks OK inside and underneath.

As per the title, springy bumper!

I used the TTW website just two weeks ago for the 400 HD camera and just yesterday I had delivered the extra mount and power cable so I can fit it in the Fabia also, service from TTW has been excellent.

thats quite impressive if its undamaged!

Good to see the car seems to have shrugged that off, and no injuries.
