I have looked in the fuel filler cap but it has simply confused me, can anybody tell me the PSI for my tyres, they are 205.45/16.

I don't know the exact figures for your car, here is a picture of a label I've found, which I've annotated with what the areas of the label mean.

The pressure is shown in Bar which is metric, 1 Bar = 14.5038 PSi (Pounds per square inch) a converter is here:

i have a '62 plate 1.6 crtdi octavia and i have 32 psi front and 34 psi rear and the ride quality seems nice !!

Cheers guys, in the meantime i called a local tyre place and according to their chart on the wall for my car with my tyres its 31 on the front and 29 on the rear !

need to give that a try i went for 32/34 as per the plate in the fuel cap and by god the ride is harsh which makes sense if thats the pressures for the octy
