18's with 225/40 tyres ok?...

Featured Replies

Basically ive changed my plans of going from 16's to 17's, instead going for 18's and have seen some rather nice looking alloys on ebay...they usually ship them with 215/35, but from what i could workout these would be way off my current 205/55/16 setup, and knock the speedo out.

So can someone just quickly tell me weather 225/40 will be ok, as they will ship the alloys with this size tyre for nothing extra...(bonus)

cheers for the help.
