vRS backbox

Featured Replies

Been looking for a second hand backbox for my MK1 Octavia vRS. but it seems they come up very rare, I was just wondering if I could fit one from a different VW as I know the engines are the same, a garage did mention that my car was the same bora or passat (cant remember which) but wasn't sure how accurate that was, and don't fancy wasting money if it wont fit

thanks

deffo not gonna weld it, haven't got the skills or knowledge for that, so direct fit only for me.. I shall keep my eyes open. Any makes I should my eyes open for, I'm ideally looking for a bit of noise when I put my foot down. already have a straight through centre section, but it made no difference
