Hi all,

Thought I'd introduce myself. I bought my first Skoda just over 6 weeks ago, a Octavia VRs in Race Blue for my wife replacing her Audi A3 S-Line. I can say that we are both very pleased with the Octavia myself so much so that I decided to chop in my Chrysler 300C for a Skoda Superb which I collect tomorrow!

We'll have his 'n' hers Skodas and look forward to the enjoyment they'll both bring.

Cheers, for the advice and tips on this forum.

  • 3 weeks later...

So two weeks into owning the Superb, and can say that it's a car that lives up to it's name. Can safely say, much better than the Chrysler 300C that I had.

Here are just some of the plus points.....

More rear legroom in the rear.

Better road holding

Better build quality

Smoother automatic

Quiter

Easier to park

Fuel economy up by 35%

I'm struggling to find any real downsides yet. Only thing that springs to mind is that you have to press and hold the memory seat buttons to activate that setting, where as in the Chrysler you just had to press the button once and it moved the seat and mirrors to that setting.

I have still yet to tow our caravan with the Skoda, so i'll let you know how that goes when I have.

Still keep finding little bits on the Superb that I find great that the Chrysler didn't have.
