  1. …and pick up the tab for demo time in models that are not what you’re ordering. like an enyaq 60loft when ordering a enyaq vrs. Erm… i still feel the end model will be super centres run by manufacturers. Where each model and most specs are available. you then order, online at home probably, a local service centre picks up the rest of the journey, pdi, delivery etc. Servicing then ends up locally, but sales and the forecourts disappear. i would and have driven a good few hours to a dealer that has the spec I want to see/try. Slightly guilty I’m not ordering from them. But willing to go and see. Maybe in reality that’s an hour max for most folk. tesla sort of doing it. Not that that is any great endorsement.
  2. *bump* now in better area for this model
  3. Thank you for all your contributions. Wish you well and of course the door is always open. We all have to come and go at times. Many of the foundling 200 are gone. The odd one here still... no idea how you get rid of me, answers on a postcard please. @Thefeliciahacker if you really want to leave, please do check out your account closure options: https://www.briskoda.net/forums/settings/account-security/ You can of course leave your account in place, just in case you want to return, to read, if not reply. side note, We like to have farewell posts, sudden disappearances can lead to mostly unjustified rumours. Some-days you don't open the site, a week later you have not returned, a new micro habit forms. It happens, has for 20+years, will do for as long as we last
  4. One near me that folk use regularly. They do seem terribly impatient when I walk down the middle. Oh no my laces have come undone. What’s that I dropped my hankie, excuse me a moment while I pick it up. I know the three cars on the lane. Oddly never seen a delivery van use it as a shortcut. As above posters, it’s a red ring sign, so contravening has some consequence. Like speed or one way. Sat nav’s generally won’t route you down one, so it’s a conscious choice to use, and bear consequences. if a local Bobby was talking to folk it’s obviously gotten to be enough of a rat run. I’d avoid using it anyway, less you’re on foot and have a hankie to drop.
  5. as @Gaz said or one of the many suspension creaks that emerge. Pop it into a local specialist, or your local dealer, will be greased bearings, broken bits or a 'feature' mine does it and I get the bearings etc re-greased, or something they do something it stops, til it comes back. However it's not just one direction, it's both, or over bumps etc.
  6. I have a few, I think, somewhere in the depths of an untidy garage. I’ll have a look tomorrow and drop you a pm
  7. We’re off topic and not playing as nicely as we are capable off. Not doing the warnings dance. Multiple reports on various points. Arguing about arguing… ain’t nobody got time for that.
  8. The floor being buckled is a big thing. The boot being a clever twin boot won’t be cheap either. if the crash bar has deformed, and the floor… but equally could just be a bit of ton thats bent with the forces. The rear lights are intact. Might just be one of those bizarre contact points. Sadly second hand diesel isn’t great values. You can appeal. Or possibly get a second/3rd party quote. push for a better valuation, find some similar models, difficult I know. The trade ‘value’ is way below retail atm. ps if it’s been outside like that, it will have water damage too now.
  9. Hi all, Got a restricted lease car list; nice problem to have. choices boil down to * enyaq 85 non x * Tesla y lfp rwd * ionic 5 77kWh rwd Anyone significantly impressed or disappointed with/or during a change in ownership? The cost is not that different, for us the Tesla network is still a bit of a plus. Just all the Musk bs puts us off supporting ‘him’. However, pragmatic enough to make the right choice as first time ev users. Thanks in advance

Strong winds, snow, subzero before wind chill… winter climbing out of cairngorm resort. …now sat in a cafe after a speedy retreat. …it’s there tomorrow. Yesterday :
  11. The interview might be a load of horse crap; I say that as there has been a run on bull crap. however it is not fake news. It really did happen… or did it? fake news will go. Left, right, loony, mod, rockers, all safe if you all keep to the guidelines; the long version of those are play nice… there is a ultra long one, but having been to a burns night over the weekend, I need not concern ya with more verses, as some Scottish bard may.
  12. Sorry, missed this. These are sent out as this used to be a Q&A forum section, some others did to. When we turned them off, for some reason they still send out, nut not on all topics. It's on a long-ish, list to sort.

  14. @MarkButtonwelcome, we’re going to need a little more information to help you on this one. Please reply below with your problem, question, information etc.
  15. Thanks for raising. ill get them added later. Life would be easier for everyone if the models were the same name Ie the Slavia is based on the scala. So a sub forum might be under its manufactured parent. scala > slavia. Etc.
  16. Actually the thought of radio four for eight hours… just done a long press reset of info unit. Hold power button for 10plus seconds, reboots. Now connected ok. Yay got my R.C.Bray audio book back.
  17. Funnily enough mine did the same today. was fine yesterday. have tried restarting both car, info and phone. phone updated ages ago, so not an over night update. even a different cable hasn’t yielded happiness. got an eight hour drive with radio four on the cards now…
  18. Hi, I’ve moved the topic to the yeti forum. better visibility here. re something else, N gauge. Years ago went to a relative in USA, they had a lovely n gauge in a wooden writing desk. I was a bit bored a few weeks back and began looking at desks and fleischmann. enjoy.
  19. Things to check if not already done so… tyres - might be a delaminating/damage on inside edge wheel balance - might of lost a small weight alignment - I hit a rock and Bent my rear axle, only I didn’t know I had bent it. Got vibrations in left hand corners, got better in right handlers though. less likely, might be worth a look… missing cv boots, broken spring, anything that moves I split the topic so it can stand on its own. HTH
  20. The 230vrs I borrowed a while back and a Tesla m-y both fought me on straightening a roads. B roads never noticed it. 😛 Occasionally maybe on lined sides, but that might have been the kerb. #notmywheels

  22. Hello, I have a question and I think you can help me, I have a Skoda Spaceback from late 2016. I would like to install a rear parking camera and be able to see it on the screen of my Radio Bolero. According to a fellow member of the forum, my Radio is compatible, I should throw away the cable and buy the camera, and activate it with the Vagcom cable (I have the Vagcom cable). My question is which camera should I buy. I would use the original or a compatible one. Where do you recommend buying it, especially if it is compatible, since being compatible there will be many models. thank you Welcome @crloslm. The language of the forum is international english, we have members from all over the world. Happy for you to post in your native language with a translation. A google translation or your own is fine, but something for the non spanish speaking readers. I've included a translation above.
  23. Hi and welcome. It could literally be anything. I don’t own an enyaq, so the following is just other stuff it might be. * Broken spring * damper is noise on compression or rebound etc. * MQB platform all develop a knocking/creaking on manoeuvring, speed bumps. Might be a similar thing that develops. * something lose in the underfloor area(don’t know if you share your car) * foreign object, guessing they/you would of seen this. Or something completely different the creaking on mine drives me nuts. Grease solves it for a bit. Hopefully they will figure it out with more time to diagnose. Till then eat mince pies and stay of the roads
