Finally managed to get an account active on here!

My names David and I have in my stables at the moment:

2003 Yellow Octavia vRS estate (been told there's only two in this colour but not sure of that!)

1987 Pearl White Audi UR Quattro 2.1 turbo - both a blessing and curse to own!

2003 Honda Civic 1.6 (for the wife!)

I've recently sold a 2001 seat leon cupra that had been fettled to an alleged 236bhp and you know what, it felt it, ludicrously fast but as it was for my wife to just get to work to we couldn't justify the 28mpg or so that we struggled to get from it!

In a move away from habit I'd like to keep the Octavia for longer than just a few months as it's a well looked after car that I'm more than happy to drive around in. I've upgraded the speakers with maybe a double din to install and looking at retrofitting:

Cruise control

Parking sensors

Looking forward to getting into the forum a bit more, learning new things and meeting others here. Quite often take my quattro to Beaulieu to display etc so get out and about already!

Thanks for the welcome. I see you've been busy in the introduction forum today!

The quattro is an awesome drive but it's needing its engine rebuilding at the moment which is why I bought the Octavia as a runaround until it's fixed, although I'll probably end up keeping both!
