Skoda uk customer service

Featured Replies

My Blackline was four week or so late in delivery and I have just had Dan from skoda uk ring me ( been dealing with this issue from the start ) and offer me a free service ( I'm on variable and didn't use the finance deal ) and he chucked in a space saver wheel and kit !

I thought this was a nice offer as they didn't actually have to do anything.

Found Dan to be extremely helpful throughout this process ..... If you have a problem you could do worse than calling him , just thought I'd share my experience

Apparently if you receive bad service you will probably tell 20 people whereas if you receive exceptional service you only tell 4 or 5.

Well done for bucking the trend! Gives some balance to the horror stories

Good to hear

Well done, makes a change to hear a good story.

Always have to spread the good news .... Annoyed the hell out of me that the car was late but a combination of skoda uk ( Dan ) and dealer ( Neil at Wimbourne , Dorset ) made it a pleasure .... Even gave me a loan car so I didn't t**t my part exchange into a hedge before new one arrived !!

Just my tuppence worth on the subject of Skoda customer service.....

I had an issue with no call back from the service manager at my local dealership 3 weeks ago after my Octy went in for new tyres (it was only over a minor job - getting a new TSI badge fitted FOC as requested bearing in mind how much I was spending on tyres from them!) - 2 requested call backs (as it was a manager decision) never materialised so when I completed the customer feedback survey I mentioned it.

Had a missed call from Gemma at Skoda UK the day after I'd submitted the feedback survey, within a couple of hours of the missed call (before I could call her back) I had a call from the new service manager at the dealership arranging for the badge to be fitted FOC. When I took the car up there end of last week, he sorted it all out personally for me and couldn't have been more helpful.

The dealership concerned is Beadles Maidstone - I'll definitely go back there for future work as I was feeling a bit disillusioned by them given previous experience. Used to share with a Nissan dealership but now have their own building next door.

+ 1 for Skoda customer services. They in my oppinion seem to do a top job.

I've always found Skoda UK to be ok. They don't always have the right answer, but they atleast try to solve the issue.

Yup, guy I spoke to last week couldn't answer my question (often the case unfortunately!) but was very pleasant.

Got say I too have found them to be very helpful. Make a pleasant change in this day & age.

Cant say i agree found the total opposite.

I can't say I've had to use customer service but when my previous 1.4 TSI Octy SE plus threw a wobbler, wouldn't start until I'd got out locked it and then tried again (when it fired up) and then decided to leave the air bag light on my dealer dealt with the problem very professionally and nothing was too much trouble. They picked the car up, diagnosed the problem, repaired it and delivered it back after cleaning it too ( I didn't need the car on the day they wanted it but could have had a courtesy car if I wanted one but them picking it up suited be better). I've had similar brilliant service from them before and since. When I went to pick it up when I first bought it I asked about front mudguards. They fitted them FOC there and then.

When I picked up my Blackline, not only did the head of their valeting team give me loads of tips on what to use to keep her looking good another of the team gave me loads of advice on how to clean her properly and they even got me some Auto Glym High Dev wax cheaper than I could get it anywhere else. The sales director Patrick Sword has sold me both cars and without doubt has been the best person I've ever dealt with when buying a car.

The dealer is Savilles at Mustow Green nr Kidderminster, a family owned independant dealer.:thumbup:

We had a car fail in France a couple of years ago, The AA who were meant to cover recovery & repair for Skoda were absolute pants. In desperation I called Skoda UK & things started to be sorted, SUK also picked up an extra night at the hotel whilst we waited for the car, I was pretty impressed to be honest

Who's got my DSG??

I went to collect my Blackline on Friday only to find that despite all order paperwork and chassis number corresponding to the DSG this car has turned up with a manual box. Cue a lot of ranting and raving before realising that there is no chance of this being replaced (rocking horse ****) With the offers of alternatives not good enough and a very apologetic sales team we managed to sort out a tasty deal in my favour. With that in mind I'm still going to contact Skoda UK and whinge about how they've managed to **** up quite an important part of the order. Missing reversing sensors I could understand and deal with but a whole gearbox. That aside it's still a cracking drive even if I have to consume energy changing gear.
