Juddering when Cold ?

Featured Replies

Evening peeps

I know i will get shot down but here goes , since owning my skoda I have never had it serviced by skoda simply for the cost and not fully understanding fixed or variable servicing ! Anyway Ive recently had it serviced by an independant and since having it back ive noticed a slight change in the driveability of it I supplied the OIL O.E but he got the other parts and now on start it up it takes a few extra seconds to fire up which you would normally put down to cold morning issues , but soon as you start driving it feels juddery as if if its a pulling motion ?

Could this be a spark plug issue ? Not knowing what spark plugs he fitted  I did think it could of been a coil breaking down but they were replaced under the recall in 2011 so surely they shouldn't of gone south just yet should they ?

Any Ideas please

Plus how the buggery do you remove the engine cover seeing as skoda wanted to charge me £12.00 to remove it !

least this way I could have a look .
