Well, the powers that be have arm-twisted me into posting here, so I suppose I should tell a few details about meself

I'm from the northwest, and have been a skoda owner for the last five years, but for cash (and insurance reasons) have only had a little SDI for that time, which whilst it has been increadibly reliable and basically hassle free (and as cheap as was required) hasnt exactly been as perhaps exciting as it should be (except when some *** *** crap driver pulls out on you at point blank range, but I dont think that counts - hey the brakes work well at least)

Anywho - finally splashed out this week and became one of the growing ranks of fabia vRS owners, and in my nervousness was scouring the web trying to find faults and bad reviews and pretty much failed (we wont count the aircon problem, I already knew about and experienced that one), however it did lead me here, and y'know its nice to belong somewhere and all, so I signed up.

Hello all, I am looking for advice from the hive mind please. We have a 2012 Fabia Scout and it needs new shocks, maybe rear springs too. Most places list these items, but they are the standard Fabia items, and I believe that the Scout has a slightly different spec suspension. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get the correct items please? Many thanks in advance for advice received. Darren

Hi guys, I'm at desperation stage here. Changed bearings on the car. Ball joints also changed. The threads on my TREs were goosed from getting the busy off, so I bought new ones to replace them. My issue is the jam nuts. I have watched/read pretty much everything that's out there, yet these things won't budge. Tried heat, spray etc. Is it definitely clockwise for both to loosen them off you are looking at the hub from the outside of the wheel arch? Lefty loosey when looking from the insid

Hi new to the site I have just purchased a 2008 superb Laurin and klement edition in dark blue with cream leather 118000 with original wheels athou the wheels need full refurb i think they are diamond cut but maybe someone could correct me could anyone tell me how many were produced in mk1s and are they a rare car I would have preferred the 1.9 as apose to the 2.0 litre but it drives just a good and coud not find this edition in a 1.9 but I don't think they did a laurin klement in a 1.9 tdi but
