Lowering and tracking

Featured Replies

Sorry if this is an obvious question but would it be recommend or the norm to have the wheel alignment done after having a set of lowering springs fitted?

Car seems to need correcting to keep it in a straight line since they were fitted yesterday. This is the only thing i can think of checking?

Thanks

After any suspension work the alignment should be checked.

yes. it's a good idea to get some miles on first to allow everything to settle, but it sounds like you've done this already.

Thanks for the quick replies, i will get it booked in.

Give it about 100 miles, then get the whole geo done, not just the tracking.

If you've lowered your car, at least the camber will be out and since it's usually related, it's likely that everything will be out.

I had all the top mounts changed on mine plus 4 wheel alignment.
