Goy car back sorted .happy days

Same old problems happen time and time again....... in 1998 my standard A4 seat base broke it went in for repair and the fitted a sport base! Hoped I would not notice!!

Sounds about right for Skoda, had the drivers seat replaced as the bolsters were knackered wouldnt have minded but i had the car 3 days and it was low mileage when i got it, new seat, cover and foam ordered and replaced within a day the cover had came loose and the lumbar didnt work.

My greenline seat base broke at 300 miles, going in for a new one wednesday, what is it with skoda seats , is this the problem :moon:

Brilliant!!!!

That's basically the only niggle I have with the vRS - the leather work is mediocre at best. I see no underlining textile for the leather fitted (hence my elbow leaves a nice mark on the handrest from time to time because the leather will naturally stretch unless you add the lining). Its funny, how those things that good upholstery schools teach doesn't really seem to matter in the real world :) At least for big manufacturers. Anyway planning a complet rework for all leather in a year or so. If you want things done good, do them yourself. So true :)
