Just love dealing with insurance

I'm insured on my vrs through adrian flux on a modified policy, been a good boy and all mods declaired and has been for a couple of years now,

Last year i bought a 1.8 vectra to run about in over winter while i did a few bits to the vrs, i intended to swop insurance over but been on a modified policy i couldn't due to vectra been standard but was given the option of a tempory policy for 3 months which actually ended up been quiet useful as i had use of both the vectra and vrs,

This year i wasn't going to bother and just run the vrs but a volvo s80 2.4 came up at work i couldn't turn down, thinking i could run it over winter and then sell it on next year doing the same as the vectra, plus it has 2 months tax left on it and due to new stupid dvla laws it now has to be either insured or sorn'ed.

Just phoned adrian flux again and they won't insure it because its a bigger engine than my vrs even though it has less power (170bhp) than a standard vrs (180bhp).

Looks like am weighing tax in and selling it sooner than i thought
