Noise Cancelling Headphones

Featured Replies

Need some advice on buying a set of headphones.

Two issues:

1. I want a decent set of headphones which I can use for game play on my home machine.

2. I would like a good set of headphones I can use at work (open office environment) which blank/remove the background noise while I listen to either nothing (ie just noise cancelling) or some general music.

To satisfy criteria 1 I know I don't need noise cancelling but need reasonable sound quality from a gamers perspective. For criteria 2 I would really like a set of headphones which want block out the general office noises which can range from general background noise to someone have a specifically noisy conversation close(ish) by.

Don't know if the two are achievable together but one purchase over two would be appreciated. Any advice gratefully received.

I has some of those and were great for the money. My ears don't suit in ear phones so I need big chunky ones. Been after a decent pair of noise cancelling headphones myself. The Sennheisers I have now aren't bad but would mind an upgrade

Take a look at the Bose quietcomfort 3's. Expensive but a great sound and awesome noise cancelling ability.

Similar comments from me, America Airlines have bose QuietComfort® 15's and I was very impressed with them (well that and the wine + galaxy tab....)

I have the Creative Fatal1ty and cant fault them. The reviews are out of this world for the price.
