Eeek just put a deposit down on a new skoda yeti se plus 170bhp 2.0d 4x4..i got a iccle bit carried away with the options list i fear :-)

I specified under body reinforcing, engine skid plate, heated seats, tow bar, off road button for hill decent control and edl, then light blue metallic paint (shark blue)....just couldn't find anything else with 1760 litre boot in van mode and not a complete bus when it comes to parking !!!! Also with reasonable CO2 figures.... So i suspect in 3-4 months i may receive it such is the waiting list....oh yes erebus wheels which are foc on se plus (just to be different)

Oh yes the cars i compared with : Kia sorento ; Hyundai santa fe; land rover freelander; Mazda cx-5. It was then narrowed to the land rover and mazda. Land rover was too expensive, mazda apparently have and issue with dpf and engine oil contamination, so another yeti it was...just a tad bit specced this time... just been to WH Smith checked out a few 4x4 magazines seems the yeti is still one of the most thought SUVs.

So second yeti ownership here we come....the current one gets traded in,when it arrives. It has done very well lugging windsurfers mountain bikes and camping equipment, so it really wasn't a tough decision....I'm hoping dab may well be fitted by the time it is built. Oh yes price rises are due next year.....

Oh forgot to mention why not elegance spec? Windsurfing and leather seats don't mix!!!!! I don't know why you cannie spec them without leather seats....

I dont like yeti roof bars need a step ladder to get anything on them!

DAB, is there a an attachment through the aux port you could use, Halfords perhaps ?

Nice one, you will love it, but I guess you know that already. Pure do some pocket DAB radios that would work through the AUX socket, with the glass roof signal may be better as well.

Oh ladder to get go the roof bar problem...i climb on the rear wheel and stand on it :-) eek folding front seat didn't know they existed!!!!!

Yeah i stream 6music though an unlimited data deal 3 account works reasonably for my normal commute :-)

I haven't had an official quote of expected delivery date but dealer thinks 3-4 months....seems quite an improvement :-)

Fuzzybunny it sounds like you know they aren't going to do anything soon - is this from Skoda UK? I'm a bit frustrated, after the announcement on the Skoda-auto main site back in October about putting DAB with the Columbus (in the same announcement as the L&K), and then no further info.

Anyway, will have to order this year or go for something else (currently being tempted away by a Legacy).

The car will have done 36k miles by the time it gets traded in . As i said this will happen in about 3-4 months i think....

no info I'm afraid just being pessimistic.

I suspect I'll be using the aux socket for DAB.
