While I sat in a chair and drank tea, ;) my wife jacked up the car and removed the wheel, trimmed the rear skirt with a stanley knife and fitted the new rear mud flaps, re-fitted the wheel and removed the jack.........Then she did the other side.............Oh!! she is so good :) Mind you It was only possible because I was dictating Hellfires excellent fitting guide.......Well done Mate 1st Class

Glad to be of service.

Mr Christopher Morley ;)

Just wishing my Mrs would be so helpful.

If it's clean its our car, if she needs a lift, that kinda thing ;)

Ha ha, excellent, unfortunatly my Mrs doesnt even know what an 'arch' is lol

Unfortunately, for all your thanks it seems as though the admin team can't make my 'How To' post either sticky or make it an article despite several times of asking.

A brilliant write up Mr Hellfire, well worth the effort in my opinion.

Maybe the Admin Team will file it with my "How to: Change the Engine Oil and Filter (vRS)" and "MORE - What engine oil should I use for my Fabia vRS?" which contains a more comprehensive list of oils than the current sticky one

I think you'll find Colin has already broached the subject of turning Mr Hellfire's valuable post on mudflaps into an article, but since he has one or two other tiny little jobs associated with this board, probably hasn't got round to it just yet.

Aixlad, if you care to point us to your contributions on oil, I'm sure something can be done with those also. Have you asked before?
