s3 strut brace

Featured Replies

I have finally got mine... :D

Just finished giving it a lick of paint... (see attached) still needs fitting :)

Tried fitting the lower brace, but it shifted when attaching it so I need a new 'wierd nut' (never seen them before)...

Anyone know where to get them? e.g. can they be found in halfrauds?

what is the wierd nut like?

what is the wierd nut like?

It's a compression nut or nut-sert, works a bit like a rivet does.

that's the one :)

Like the green colour, I left mine black. How did you fix it on, I cant see any bolts in the pic.

That looks like my next plan...

Did you simply get one at an Audi dealer? And did you do the drilling yourself? If so, what tools did you use?

Is there an FAQ somewhere on Briskoda that I missed?
