Cheers mate. Take it ill have to trim it down? Whats the pipe on the bottem? With metal tube in? Cheers.

The metal spigot you can see is on your existing aluminium lower section of the tip. You will need a small hose clip to replace the existing one when you swap over.

When I fitted my forge one I had to trim about 6mm off the end to get it to fit into the space, also found the work went easier with the car up on ramps, however some people did the fitting all from above with no probs.

Do a search there is a good fitting guide somewhere.

Make sure that the small end is pushed fully onto the turbo inlet and that the hose clip is done up tight.

Good idea to check after about a week and re-tighten all hose clips.

Its not the easiest of items to fit but once done you will find that the turbo spool up will be faster.

Here is the lower end on the turbo inlet, I made up a small clamp to hold the hose clip in place:-

Thanks for that bud. gonna have a bash tomorrow i think. will let you know how i get on!! :-D

You'll probably find out yourself but you will need to cut about 1.5" off the Turbo end. I had to, it was just too long and fouled on surrounding pipe work.

What a pain in the a**. Ive got ot on but think thrres a bit of a kink near the airbox so dont think itssitting correctly.....and the recirc valve is sitting a lot higher than befor! Any ideas?

Things won't sit in exactly the same position so it will have moved a bit, should be no kinks though, sounds like theTIP needs rotating a little.

Well i had to take a good inch off the turbo end to get it to sit anywhere close to matching old tip. but things seem well out of place if im honest. may have to have another bash tomorrow but its on an staying on atm. worst case scenario is buy another n get someone else to fit it.....or standard on goes back on :(

Mine didn't fit fantastic but after some twisting about it was ok, as I said before I took a good 1.5" chunk off the Turbo end. Have you got any pics of the kink?

Will try and get one up.....its not a massive kink....but instead of the hose being in its normal circle shape at airbox end its just a little kinked. i dunno if it makes sense to you guys tho lol. will post a pic in two minutes

Looks like it needs twisting, can't tell from the pics but should need turning towards the kinked area if that makes sense?

ahh ok. will have a go tomorrow at somepoint as im off all day. the kink is underneath, so do you think if i just have a bit more of a play with it, it may just fall in etc? it seems to be holding on ok at turbo end so i guess thats good news haha! thanks for the replys!!
