Hello everyone. Just joined and looking forward to picking up my Superb 1.9TDI Elegance this Thursday.

I was buying an 06 Superb 2.0TDI two years ago before I read your forum about the oil pump issues and opted for my Seat Altea (great car). Browsing the trader two weeks ago I came across an 04 Superb 1.9TDI 130 TipTronic so went to have a look. As soon as I saw and drove the car I had to have it.

71k, 2 owners, full dealer history, loads of bills etc so cannot wait to pick it up. Will get some pics on if I can. Speak soon.

Make sure the carpets are BONE DRY otherwise it will be nothing but trouble, these things leak from the pollen filter for fun.

The bloke along the road from me has a 1.9tdi superb 51reg covered well over 450,000 miles. No major trouble just the usual wear and tear parts. I'll catch up with him and get a photo to prove mileage.

Thanks for the heads up on the water issue. I have just spoken to the dealer who is getting the technician to inspect the scuttle area and carpets for me.
