My mate runs one in his focus rs and is pretty good. I am pretty sure i seen someone with one not long back on here.

Used run one of these in my old mk3 Seat Ibiza Cupra, had it in some foam in the old ashtray. Handy for reading codes and turning the engine check light out once problem diagnosed and fixed.

I used to run one in my Fabia mate, just recently took it out and passed it onto a mate, I found it quite handy!

Ooo i want one!!

Looks fancy and spent 10 minutes reading all the fancy stuff it can do, all i wonna know is if i can change the brightness and background colour....

Id buy one if it was cheap ;)

Yes you can change the colour of the display and brightness also, I paid a bit more than thirty pounds though lol.

Double post. eBay is your friend.

Going on my christmas list now then!

Yes, buy it, fit it, post results :)

Regaurding the plug for it, does this mean you have to have that cubby hole/storage tray infront of the obd2 plug removed at all times?

Just use the torque app on an android phone

I was going to get one of these for Xmas, then I came across Ultra Gauge while looking up reviews on the Scan Gauge, does the same thing for cheaper price and arguably better looking display as well, Scan Gauge = £111, Ultra gauge = £68.

Mine arrived from USA Monday and is under Xmas tree awaiting unwrapping :-)

I don't like the look of it... could be easily mistaken as a taxi meter! lol

Someone on here, Jim H maybe, proposed unclipping the OBD port, then securing it so it faces in the other direction so you can have the cubby shut. :)

Thats fine, personal taste.

If you look at the functionality the Ultra Gauge can do more, 2, 4, 6 or 8 gauges on the home screen, multiple home screens with different gauges on each one, automatically dims depending on ambient light but the main thing that made me decide to get it is the price difference.

I have had a quick peek in the box when it arrived and it's about half the size of my HTC sensation phone so quiet small, are taxi meter's that small ?

I would want one thats the same size as my climate control screen. Would need to make a surround for it to fit under the cd player as a double din type fitment.

Anyone got a link to what it can display?

I just looked on ebay and read through some adds, tells you what it can do.

Snap Joe but lovingly crafted into a heater vent.

Yer they do them in the octavia vents. Wouldnt be to hard to put in a fabia vent though realy.

I've never been a fan of sticking things on heater vents or removing them, just looks stupid!

A boost gauge in a heater vent has to be one of the worst crimes to a car, screams chav... Imo.

Edit: makes the dash look gash also.

Each to there own as they always say.

I did see one of those gauges fitted into an Audi TT dashvent and it looked pretty good.

Great, the most important one, oil temp isnt listed. (I know you BLT engines wouldnt be able to do it anyway but I suspect us ASZ engine would).
