Is this for the projector light mate ?

Yeah you've got a fabia II vrs? Got one H7 bulb each side if a vrs or 2 each side if not. Just twist out basically

It's vrs mate does it have 2 h7 bulbs each side?

does it have the black lights or clear? If black it has one H7 either side, if clear it has 2 H7's in each side

Clear lights bud

So it will have one H7 for dipped projector and one H7 for main projector, so 4 in total. but obviously dependant on if yo are only wanting to change the dipped.

Yeap Fabia ll vrs, pull rubber cap off the back of the head light unit & then turn the bulb holder to release. Mine didn't want to turn at first & it look like I was going to break something :( I stopped calmed down and had another & it just turned? :)

Lookin to change both Dexter how does the projector one come out mate

You should just be able to remove the rubber caps, remove the block connector then twist anticlockwise to remove any of the H7 bulbs

Just tried to swap the bulbs on mine...next to impossible! Why do they have to make it so difficult?

Managed to do the passenger side (just), but the drivers side has only left me with a bleeding thumb. I can barely get my hand into the unit, let alone get enough twist on it due to the position you have to contort into in the first place :wall:

They say it's easy if you remove the front bumper! At least it is on the Roomster.

Got loads off space for changing bulbs and don't find them too hard to undo.

Feel like this picture guide should be stickied. Just did this job myself with zero help to be had from the Skoda manual, this helped a lot. A search on the forum returned a ton of threads of people asking how to get this kitten of a job done. Even with this guide I ended up with sore knuckles but at least I knew what I was supposed to do.

The thing that really stumped me was actually getting the bulb out from the holder, was stuck in there something fierce. Figured there was some sort of clip or something to get it out, but in the end brute force was required. THAT part wasn't in this or any other guide as far as I could see.

At least I have the best possible road legal bulbs in now. Still think the light on this car leaves something to be desired.

I changed the dip bulbs in mine today. I wore gardening gloves and still struggled then they suddenly released. Had to lever the bulbs out of the holders with a flat blade screwdriver then it was just as difficult to replace them. Eventually adjusted the locking tabs with pliers.
