Mixture - Art / Photoshop / Photography

Featured Replies

Thought I'd drop a few bits of my own work. Did about 4 years of graphic design, but moved on towards illustration, Picked up most of what I know of Photoshop from there and the Photography is like a 'on the side' hobby, Do it now and then or when I'm in the mood. You might notice most of the photoshops are of Skodas ;)

As for artwork/illustrations, I finished graphic design with diploma, but was told I was more apt for illustration, so tried to follow that path... and didn't get anywhere. So now its really for my own enjoyment.

For years, I used a mixture of either pencil, pen and now have moved onto using a digital graphics tablet, So now I can work faster, but still learning how to use it...

Still learning new things, like my sort of new Cintiq WX12 tablet... Haven't used it much since buying it! :x

Very nice, clearly some talent you have.

You.ve got some real talent there. The mech wolves are superb. Oh and I like what you did with my fab. Lovely choice of red

I may ask for another photoshop at some point soon :)

Agreed, might even chop the Fun in for that (in the real world of course!)

Impressive stuff. Do I spot Raban's Lane in your Flickr stream?

How long would something like that grey-scale fox take to do out of interest?

Yeppers, I use down there quite a bit. It's remote, quiet and havent had a problem down there. :)

The first image? That was on the tablet over a few days worth. Spend about an hour or two each time.

Wow, quite a while then.

I've ever been down there once with a camera and I was the only person about then too - nice and empty.

I've done a few photo shoots for others down there, they've always been pleased with the outcome. I'm by no way a pro with a camera, I just keep shooting/fiddling the settings until I'm happy with it! :giggle:

Sounds familiar - but that's half the fun anyway IMO. That said, no-one's ever wanted me to shoot for them (un-surprising!) so you must be doing something right. :)
