New badges and plastidipped upper grille chrome!

Featured Replies

Bought my badges from ebay (seller: number1forskoda)

And painted the upper grille chrome with Plastidip black matte spray. Plastidip gives a rubbery finish on all items, which is peelable when you pry it from a corner :)

Used a hair dryer, the badges easily come off

Left no residues, I also clean the are with neat isopropil alcohol

To remove front part, a bolt and 6 clipses should be off

After 4 layers of Plastidip

And rear one :)

Does the rear badge fit without any modifications?

If so have you got links, as interested in doing this on my Monte :)

No extra thing, I just put some extra silicone for strong binding and twisted off the 3 small pins behind the new rear badge for fitting. Actually, the new badge is a litlle bit great in diameter but it fits ;)

Looks great Irfan. Goof job.
