What car/engine do you have?

Also was the scanned with VCDS or a generic scanner?

Octavia vrs mk1 and a code readee off ebay

That fault code is discussed in a number of threads in other forums, including the one below. Your car doesn't have engine mount solenoid valves, so the code reader shouldn't have flagged that fault up. I would recommend a VCDS scan to see what if anything that reports.

PS I assume that you are scanning your Octavia rather than an Audi?

Any ideas what it could be then??

Fault readers are a waste of money. There are many VAG codes that they don't recognise or misread. Buying a cheap ebay OBDII cable & downloading VCDS lite free shareware version is a much better option.

Your car hasn't got solenoid mounts so that can't be the problem!

Cheers baffled atm as some forums are saying its the right engine mount

You may be losing something in translation between the ECU in the car and the OBDII code reader you have. VCDS will be better able to pull the correct fault code information from the car than a cheap scanner.

The chances are that the code you have isn't correct.
