ha ha.. I thought it might pop up somewhere.

that price is a bit steep tbh - i could have bought it for 6 and a bit but I declined (skint) however it does still have a lovely set of weitec coilovers, tts shifter and knob and a few other little bits and bobs fitted. The big win for whoever buys that car though is the new engine that was fitted only 10k miles ago.

They obviously don't know what they've got - no mention of the mods. Looks lovely though.

no mention of mods fair enough, but also no mention of a bunch of the factory options the car has, zenons, parking bleepers, heated seats, maxidot, mdi, curtain airbags and light assistant?

Funny, I did the same thing, browsing Autotrader looking at car porn etc. and I thought "wait a minute....white estate/graphite alloys/Audi knob....I know this car!" (the wife shakes her head in mock disgust at the amount of time I spend on the forum).

With only 10k 'real' miles on the clock and all those options, suddenly £9700 seems rather good

I know that garage, they are jockeys :-)
