HI GUYS I WANT TO FIT AN ALLOY FOOT REST BUT WHAT I WANT TO KNOW IS..WOULD A FAB 1 ALLOY FOOT REST FIT A FAB 2. :wonder:

I can see why you ask the question because I 've not seen any of these footrests for sale that state that they do fit the Mk2.

Why not ask the sellers if they fit?

Check eBay there's loads of people selling them

MKI FOOTREST DOESN'T FIT THE MKII - COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SHAPE OUR FOOTREST AREA. CAPITALS F-YEAH!

Good,so there is no fitment difference, thanks.

It's a pity the sellers don't know exactly what their products do or don't fit.

Some owners don't know !:)

It's not a perfect fit but its acceptable

Been tempted by these for months now.. just not sure about drilling down there :S

You don't have to drill down there the rest is easily removed , I fitted nuts and bolts instead of the supplied self tappers and fitted a strip of 3m carbon sheet underneath it.

It's much easier to fit if you remove the rest to do it
