Hi all

Was hoping a very nice person might be able to mail me a exploded diagram for the passengers door. Need to replace the electric window switch (Pt No. 1209598553x1 in case anyone wants it?) and understand there are some tricky catch's that need to be negotiated!

Not too sure if this has been posted in one of the techie sections previously - I was trying to find some similar info on Mk5 Golf and stumbled across this info that may be of use:

The link above has many links to vw technical service site - most of the vw publications are in english and russian, but the skoda publications (available via the links) are predominantly russian only although the exploded diagrams should help. The info that you are after will be in one of the links in the 'body' section.

Should be easy enough to remove, I did so to get to the door handle illumination. http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/85636-add-an-illumination-in-internal-door-handle-from-lk-to-vrs/

Note it is mostly held in by tabs though there is one screw in the centre.

Thin small flat screw driver to remove speaker grill, 1 torx screw driver to undo handle holder use screw driver again to remove whole unit, then gently turn handle unit around and unlatch door cable, sit the unit so you can see the back of it and unplug wiring from window switch, use small screw driver to gently unclasp switch, refit in revers order
