Hi guys,

Me and a mte are working on his 1.6 pickup and we can seem to get the new shocks in we have the spring nd everything on but the wishbone doesnt seem to go low enough to put the bottom of the shovk in place, any ideas how we could get it in?

We have tried levering it with a crowbar and no luck

Are you trying to get the shock into the hub? You may find it easier to undo the bottom ball joint, freeing the hub from the wishbone, and then fitting the hub to the strut. Then put the bottom joint back in - there's less free play needed for that rather than trying to get the shock into the hub.
