205/60R15 tyres on 6J rims?

Featured Replies

I have a mk1 octavia classic.

With steel wheels. 6J width.

I have another set of alloys (audi 4X108 which clearly won't fit) with decent 205/60R15 tyres on them.

The standard size for 6J steel rims is 195/65R15.

Is there a definitive guide to whether putting the 205/60R15 tyres on 6J rims is ok?

Or, what width are standard octavia 15" alloys (nothing fancy, just off a higher spec model).

Or can I get 6.5J or 7J steel rims in 15" 5x100?

Thanks

Steve

They will fit fine

youll just get a rounder sidewall, and probably slightly more comfort
