Thought I would treat the car to a crimbo pressie, Some genuine BBS 18" CH's 8.5J ET30 all round . Got them off a member on here but were quite badly curbed. Have now been repaired, dipped, blasted and powder coated in a grey metallic. Looking forward to getting these put on next week. The finish looks awesome, Havent seen them in the flesh yet, this is a sneak peek. Will add some more pics when they arrive

Awesome wheels fella but if I was you I'd use Gtechniq C5 for your wheels as a sealant. A hell of a lot better than PoorBoys wheel sealant and last around 18 months. PB doesn't last long less than a month in some cases, I've used it many a times so I'm moving onto Gtechniq, I've heard nothing but brilliant reviews on it.

Yeh ive read about the Gtech C5 looks very good stuff. Just seemed a bit on the expensive side so went for the poorboys at £12. I was hoping to put 2 maybe 3 coats of the PB on to see out the remainder of the winter weather. Wondering if i should have bit the bullet and gone for the Gtech now tho :-(

Got tyres swapped over and wheels fitted today. Very happy with the look. Clear the brembos a treat aswell :-) will take some decent pics tomorrow

I was only telling the children this morning that daddy misses his black car and would like another when they don't all need to be in car seats. Trouble is, when I see photos like yours Mr Black..VRS..1.8T, I have thoughts about whether it's illegal to put children in the boot, on the roof so I can have another. How about when I am ready to buy a vRS, you sell me yours?

Cheers skinnyman, its took me a good while to get it looking like this, paint was in a poor state when i got it. Not looking at selling anytime soon but you will defo get first shout mate :-) Theres plenty of room in the boot for the kids haha. We had no snow yet, saying that looking out the window its coming down now :-)
